Graphics
The graphic collection of the University Library includes drawings, print graphics, and maps. The drawings, abbreviated as Delin., are among the most valuable parts of the graphic treasures, including the significant travel album of Count Palatine Ottheinrich. In addition to drawings and over 700 historical maps from the 16th to the 19th centuries, the graphic collection also offers an impressive array of European printmaking: woodcuts, copper engravings, steel engravings and lithographis, primarliy from the 17th to the 19th centuries.
A selection of these is already available for research via the Franconica portal.
