Die Kirche St. Jakob am Stadtrand wurde im 14. Jahrhundert gegründet und im 16. Jhd. in spätgotischem Stil umgebaut. 1670 brannte die Kirche ab und wurde im Wiederaufbau barockisiert, wobei die spätgotischen Portale erhalten blieben.
